Great for bachelorette parties, bridal showers, corporate events, birthday parties, team-building events, holiday parties, thank-you celebrations, family get-togethers and much more! Painting and being creative is a great stress-reliever. People who paint together are happy together – the more the merrier!

PAINT THE TOWN EVENTS
Be sure to pay attention to the location of your class, as we are in several different wine bars throughout the week, in addition to our studio location. Check our calendar when you register, but typically we are in Blendz Winery on Mondays; Vino Loco on Wednesdays; and other wine bars and breweries in Northern Arizona. We really appreciate our partnerships with these businesses, which allow us to bring you painting in the heart of downtown Flagstaff. The bars provide a different environment where you can paint and enjoy social time with friends. Drinks and food are a separate purchase; check the menu for any specials that evening. We rotate a fundraising event at our downtown paint nights each month – your registration will indicate if a portion of your ticket that night will benefit a local non-profit.

PET PORTRAITS
Paint Your Pet Night is a favorite of ours! You submit a head shot of your favorite pet (dog, cat, bird, horse, goat, ferret… you name it!), we pre-sketch your canvas for you, then you come to class and are led through painting your canvas. Great gift idea if you want to paint a pet for someone! You can choose the vibrant pop-art style, or go with more traditional colors for your pet. Email us your pet portrait or text a photo to 928.606.0675. We just need one or two head shots of your pet. One pet per painting, please. Credits for rescheduling for a future date will be issued if photos are not received by the deadline listed in the event. These classes are typically $50 due to the additional work involved in prepping your canvas. Class time is extended to allow for individual instruction as every painting is different; and we limit the size of the classes to allow for more personalized attention.

DATE NIGHT
Get creative with your honey! On some nights, we even offer a double-canvas class where each person paints their own canvas, each a half of a larger painting. The two can then be hung side-by-side or separately. This covers all the materials for both of you to create your own masterpieces, as well as a memory-filled evening. Laugh, relax and have a great night! BYOB wine, champagne or beer after 4 p.m. in our studio location only. PLEASE NOTE: Drinks are a separate purchase at all locations other than our studio.

 

WANT TO BOOK A PRIVATE EVENT?

Want to pick the date, time and featured painting for your group? Book a private event. Private events ($150 non-refundable deposit required) include:

A 2- to 3-hour class with instruction for $35/person (16×20 canvas option) or $25/person (11×14 canvas panel option). Minimum of 7 painters required to book a private event (even if you will not fill all the seats). Check out our regular weekly classes if you have a smaller group; we can almost always fit fewer than 10 people in to any existing class. You MUST have purchased a ticket to enter and remain in the studio. This is to comply with our BYOB regulations – thanks in advance for your help! We recommend arriving just about 15 minutes early to greet friends, put on a painting apron, pour a drink and get settled in.

A note on parking – we have limited parking for about 20 vehicles on site. Please plan to carpool, uber, take a taxi or park nearby and walk a few blocks if you are bringing a large party in.

Our studio can seat up to 45 painters in each of our two rooms. We can do off-site events for up to 150 people! We bring the table coverings and easels, and materials required to create a masterpiece! You provide tables/chairs. For very large parties, we ask that you have access to a sound system and document camera/projection screen so everyone can watch our artist paint and hear their instruction.

We provide the artist to lead you, canvas, paint, easel, brushes, aprons if you are at our studio, and anything else needed to create your masterpiece. You can bring your own snacks and drinks. Alcohol (beer and wine only) permitted only after 4 p.m. if the event is at our studio. If you are wanting to enjoy a meal together, we recommend hitting a restaurant before or after and making painting with us a stop along the way! Because of limited space, we do not recommend bringing more than snacks/appetizers to the studio. Remember you will be busy painting the majority of the time, while you chat in between artist instruction. Get ready to relax, laugh and have a great time!

You get to choose the painting you would like to create! There are many options on our website at www.creativespiritsaz.com/designs.

Non-refundable deposit of $150 is required for private events. This will go toward your participants’ registrations; your remaining balance is due the day of your event. Off-site events are an additional $125 for set-up. For events 50-100 people, our set-up fee is $250. For more than 100 people, we charge $300 for set-up. We may also charge an additional fee to travel outside of Flagstaff.. We typically allow 2 hours for set-up of large events. In most cases, we do not provide tables and chairs or A/V equipment for off-site events. We will coordinate with you and let you know what is needed for a successful experience!

We are available weeknights and on Saturdays at almost any time. If you need to schedule something during a weekday, please call us to make arrangements. In some cases, we are willing to add on some additional studio time to your reservation; however, please note that we are not a party rental facility. Your guests must be registered painters. Please call to discuss pricing options with us if you require more than the normal 2-3 hours of studio time. Subject to availability of our team members.
