On Nov. 8, 2018 the most destructive fire in California’s history tore through Northern California, destroying the town of Paradise.
Paradise is hometown to Flagstaff’s own Cori Wall, and hometown to 5 generations of her family. The fire took the lives of nearly 100 residents from Paradise and surrounding areas.
To date, Paradise is in the cleaning, clearing, contamination testing and rebuilding process and 1,000 residents have returned.
Cori, who is the director at Canyon Dance Academy in Flagstaff, has made it her mission to help #ParadiseStrong, in conjunction with The Rotary Club of Paradise, raise funds to help community centers and schools re-open for students this fall.
Please join Creative Spirits on designated Fridays in October to help FUNdraise for this cause, and support a local community member meet her goal. When you paint with us those nights, we will donate $10 of each ticket to #ParadiseStrong.
If you’d like additional information on specific projects that The Rotary Club of Paradise is helping fund, please contact Cori at email@example.com.
